I hope to have some finished pics on here tomorrow! I am doing a local craft show in October and hope to "construct" some more. So..be honest...tell me what you think!..I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!..Until next time..I'll take mine Americana!

Good Saturday to all!!!...My hubby and I went to some community garage sales today...and did we find some great lil' finds!! The red handled kitchen untensils were only 1.00 each!! I have been looking for some affordable ones like these forever!!.So you can guess how happy I was!!..I was actually looking at some other things and my hubby said..haven't you been looking for these?...I couldn't believe it!..then a little later we found the two enamelware bowls (with red too) for only 1.00 a piece! My kitchen is done in coca-cola with red lower walls...so I am sooo happy to find these!..Also today we found 2 really cool baskets..also for 1.00 each!!.(it must 1.00 day!), and 2 graters..one for .25 the other for .50...( I think they will look cool with some tea lights in them), a wooden potato masher for 2.00, an old bottle with a handle for .75 and last but not least a grapevine tree for .75..I am so excited!..it feels like Christmas!!..I hope you ladies had a wonderful Saturday!!!...Well, I am going out to work in my yard...until next time..I'll take mine Americana!

Great Wednesday morning to all!! The sun is finally shining today!! I wanted to add some more of the great finds from my garage sale expedition this past Sat. I have never found so much great stuff so cheap before..so forgive me if I am going on too much about it!! You know how it is girls...when you find a great deal you want the whole world to know!! The candle holder is one of my favorite redo outcomes..I love this look...It started out green...I sanded to get some courseness to it and then painted it and then sprayed it with crackle paint..added some rosehips and whatnot..and of course a grubby candle..Whatcha think?? the other pic is some goodies I found (yes at the same sale)that fit perfectly in my upstairs bathroom...they were all as is...I didn't have to do a thing to them! How do they look? Too much on the bench? Let me know.. Thanks Ladies for taking the time to read my blog...until next time..I'll take mine Americana!!

As promised..I am slowly posting more of my wonderful garage sale finds. I am still trying to figure out what changes I should make (if any) to them and where in the heck am I going to put it when I get it done!!!HEHE!! The first pic is of four things I found at a "junk" sale this past Saturday. I paid .50 a piece for them...the question is..should I paint the stool and tool caddy? or leave as is? The second pic is of all the treasures I picked up at a garage sale ( also this past Sat.) for my upstairs bathroom...I love them..I painted and then used shoe polish (thanks Dawn for the idea) on the peg board. It was a blue color..pretty..but did not match my colors in there!...The third pic is of a crock bowl...a .50 item also picked up at my garage sale expedition this past Sat. I added some filler and a grubby candle. Whatcha think?? I hope everyone is having great summer...thanks for all your kind comments! Until next time...I'll take mine Americana Please!!...
Hey Ladies...Just wanted to share the candle holder..I found at a garage sale for .25. It was a hideous pink color...so I painted it a blue and then did some sanding..what do you think? Should I add some crackle paint too? I found so many things at this garage sale...and cheap too! I will be posting when i get them done...(they all needed some Americana TLC).
